Jeremy Austin and the War World
February 2019
Jeremy Austin never asked to save a planet—it's bad enough being a "B" average student as the son of a world-famous geneticist for crying out loud! He didn't ask to be attacked by Gnome assassins, didn't choose to become food for a prehistoric monster, would never have thought consorting with wizards a wise concept, and he definitely would never, ever sign up to wield a sword in combat against a villain called the Gnome King.
But the discovery of a wormhole changes everything.
Scientists at his father's company, TerraGen Universal, have constructed a portal that results in successful transportation to another planet 2.5 million light years away—a planet code-named…Genesis. But his father's expedition to establish a colony on planet Genesis goes missing. Surrounded by an army of mercenaries, Jeremy reluctantly ventures through TerraGen's portal and discovers a nightmare world—a world clutched in a civil war between alien races: one evil and Shadow spawned; the other… a combination of human and alien nations who are desperately awaiting the arrival of a savior who will defeat the Shadow Lord. For Jeremy, the search for his father becomes lost in a struggle for survival and escape from those who would put the mantel of planet savior on his shoulders.
Jeremy Austin and the Paladin

TerraGen Universal’s expedition to a planet 2.4 million light years from Earth has gone missing. Jeremy Austin and five high school friends embark on a rescue mission to find their parents, each world-renowned scientists. Surrounded by an army of mercenaries, they travel through a high-tech portal and discover a nightmare planet on the other side—a violent world of alien races and man-eating monsters—a world in despair where freedom is threatened and the citizens are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a savior who will defeat the evil Shadow Lord.
At the end of War World our high school students have been separated into two groups: one protected by the magic of a bonafide wizard; while the other is enslaved by the Gnome King whose army feeds on the bodies of their captives. They discover magic is isn’t confined to wizards. Several of the TerraGen kids awaken magical powers—one can create plants from nothing—one is deadlier than a ninja assassin—and one is feared by the Gnomes. Meanwhile the soldiers who came through the portal with Jeremy and his friends—mercenaries hired by MetaUniversal Genetics—they use their superior weaponry to kill and steal whatever advanced technology they find and the local medieval warriors are powerless to stand in their way.
All six TerraGen teens must find their parents in less than a month or lose their chance to return to Earth. First they must survive… In Paladin, Jeremy Austin’s search for his father becomes overshadowed by his resentment of his older brother and the mantel of planet savior that Erik is trying to put on his shoulders.
